Everyone is Welcome!
Every Sunday, people from all over the Lehigh Valley come to Mediator. Whether you are a life-long Episcopalian, or just trying to figure out who Jesus is (and what he has to do with your life), we hope you'll discover that you've come to the right place.
Something's Definitely Happening at Mediator!
We are a community that moves to an ancient order of worship, yet also moves to a contemporary cadence of fellowship, prayer, ministry, education and service; a sacred rhythm that forms us in Christ.
We invite you to bring your own spiritual journey to Mediator. Bring your gifts, your religious traditions, your hopes, your doubts, your joys, and your questions.
All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion in the Episcopal Church. The wafer is received with your palms crossed. When the Lay Eucharistic Minister comes to you, you may sip from the large cup, or you may touch the edge of the wafer into the wine in the small intinction cup. If you do not wish to receive, you may cross your arms across your chest.
What We Offer:
- Transcendence through Worship
Worship through the Holy Eucharist: The principal worship experience at Mediator is the Sunday celebration of the Holy Eucharist, where, as God's faithful community we share in Scripture reading, prayer and Holy Communion. - Worship through Music
A key to our worship is the music at Mediator. The quality of our music ministry is achieved through the excellence of our choir and staff musicians. - Worship through other forms
Choral Evensong, Morning Prayer, Family Eucharist, "A service of Healing," and Lessons & Carols are among the worship experiences offered beyond Sunday mornings. - Significance through Teaching
Sunday Young People's Christian Education is offered to children and teens ages three through senior high school. For timing and details look here. - Adult Christian Education on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and a variety of education experiences throughout the year during the week. For details look here.
- Community through Fellowship
Small Groups offer an opportunity to meet regularly and study in a smaller setting, often with people of similar interests. - Outreach Ministries such as Grace Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, the Heifer Project, soup kitchen, Daybreak, CROP walk, Just for Kids, Adopt-a-Family Project and the Highland Educational Project Mission.
