The ECW meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
All ladies of the church are invited to join us at our meetings.
The ECW supports many of our outreach activities at Mediator and works in cooperation with the Outreach Commission to coordinate those activities.
Upcoming Dates and News
The Episcopal Church Women of Mediator have a number of dates and activities on the calendar for the Fall, not the least of which will be planning meetings on Wednesdays, September 1st, November 3rd and December 1st at 9:30 a.m. in the Library. We welcome your participation, input, ideas and suggestions at any time.
Our October date will be the Apple Dumpling Sale on Wednesday, the 13th. Watch for more news in the coming weeks regarding ordering information, cost, and pickup arrangements.
In addition to the meeting date of November 3, we will be hosting the (almost!) annual Soup Sampler Luncheon on Sunday, November 13th following the 10:15 a.m. service. Watch for sign-up sheets for your offers of homemade soup and desserts.
In December we will again sponsor the annual Giving Tree outreach effort, encouraging your gifts of hats, mittens, scarves, gloves, etc. for those in need in our local community. In recent years this effort has been combined with a program of the Outreach Commission focusing on specific needs such as clothing, household items, games and toys, etc. for local families. Your gifts to the Giving Tree are often included in the provisions passed along to these families as well.
Our collection of School Supplies has concluded and we thank you for your generosity in providing needed items for both Raub Middle and Muhlenberg Elementary schools.
