Disaster Relief

Diocesan Relief Efforts

Ongoing aid to help disaster victims throughout the world can be sent to Episcopal Relief and Development, as they work in many areas to help people devastated by natural disasters, such as tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes in our country and throughout the world.

ERD works with the Episcopal dioceses in many areas to provide immediate relief and ongoing support. Contributions to ERD can be made through the parish, noting ERD on the bottom of the check, or by internet http://www.er-d.org. Their website is a good sources of information on what is being done to help throughout the world.

The New Hope Campaign

This five-year effort began with Kick-off Sundays, September 23, 2007 and September 30, 2007. and will serve our partnership Diocese of Kajo Keji in Sudan and the needy in Pennsylvania.

"Love your neighbors as yourself," is God’s Second Great Commandment. It requires something of us and offers us the opportunity to grow closer to God. From our support of our local Just for Kids Clubs program and the Grace Food Bank, to our international ministry in the Diocese of Kajo Keji, we have the power intellectually, financially and spiritually to obey Christ’s commandments to care for our brothers and sisters in our Diocese and beyond.

Keep this very important outreach ministry in your daily prayers.
