Faith Weavers
Can you believe we're more than half way through the Sunday School year! Mediator's 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students have been very busy!
This year, we are again using Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. It follows the lectionary, with the study topic focusing on the current Gospel reading. We also study the seasons of the Episcopal Church. During class each week, we continue to take a collection for the Heifer Project.
Our focus this Season of Lent has been "encouragement." We've talked about how we can share encouragement through writing letters, giving directions, showing compassion, using words of encouragement, and by becoming a welcoming person.
The Faith Weavers enjoyed our annual project of making and decorating Valentine's Day cards. These were sent to the older parishioners at Mediator. Also, a bowling trip was held at the end of March.
Come peek in our room anytime - we're downstairs, we have hot chocolate, and it's always nice and warm!
